The Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform helps companies protect themselves against cyber threats and manage their cryptographic assets with the first all-in-one solution for keys, secrets and certificates
Entrust, a provider of identity-centric security solutions, has unveiled the Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform, the industry’s first complete solution for managing cryptographic keys, secrets and certificates. The platform combines all relevant security functions in a centralised system – for full transparency, control and future-proofing when dealing with cryptography.
Changing threat landscape due to AI and quantum computing
Cyber attacks on data security and identity systems are rapidly increasing in scope and sophistication. Conventional approaches to securing data and identities no longer offer comprehensive protection in the face of this threat landscape. In digitally-driven environments, all networked devices, applications and systems are at risk without a secure cryptographic foundation. However, fragmented management tools for a wide variety of cryptographic assets – such as encryption keys, secrets or certificates – are making it increasingly difficult for companies to manage their cryptography securely and transparently. At the same time, developments in quantum computing present them with the complex challenge of organising the transition to quantum-secure cryptography. The need for consolidated management of all cryptographic assets is therefore acute.
The Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform addresses this challenge with comprehensive visibility and control across the entire cryptographic landscape – including public and private cloud environments, endpoints, applications and networks. Security, IT and DevOps teams gain both the control and flexibility to easily deploy cryptographic solutions while maintaining a centralised view to manage complex operations and prepare for the transition to post-quantum cryptography.
“In a world where keys, secrets and certificates are increasingly the target of AI-powered attacks, isolated cybersecurity tools are no longer enough. We are experiencing an explosion of data and devices that need to be cryptographically secured – and at the same time, we are in the midst of a multi-year transition to quantum-secure cryptography. It’s clear that every organisation must put the management of its cryptographic foundation at the centre of its security strategy,’ said Bhagwat Swaroop, President of Digital Security at Entrust. “With our new platform, we’re helping organisations protect their cryptographic foundations.”
“As the inevitable “Q-Day” – the day when quantum computers can break traditional encryption – draws ever closer, cryptographic management must keep pace. Companies need complete visibility and transparency into their cryptographic inventory, with the flexibility to keep pace with technological developments,’ added Jennifer Glenn, Research Director for Information and Data Security at IDC. “Organisations are looking for a comprehensive, future-proof solution that adapts to the security requirements of tomorrow.”
Industry’s first complete cryptographic security management solution
With the following features, the Entrust Cryptographic Security Platform enables organisations to take control of current challenges and minimise potential risks:
- Enterprise-wide visibility: Monitor cryptographic assets, log changes and alerts for better visibility – all from a central dashboard.
- Cryptographic risk management: Automatically assess security posture, enforce policies, and protect keys, secrets, and certificates across teams and domains.
- Scalable architecture: Powerful, future-proof solutions that comply with the latest standards – available on-premises or as a managed service.
- Interoperability: Extensive integrations with leading security, identity and IT systems, as well as customisation options via open APIs.
