On April 2nd and 3rd 2025, ISID will once again attend the General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference (GPEC) in Leipzig as an exhibitor. This year’s GPEC Digital is the reference event for Law Enforcement agencies on Digitalization and electronics for the Public Security. In this occasion ISID will showcase the latest version of its Intelion platform for AI analytics and police investigation.
ISID, a technology company focused on AI solutions and platforms for advanced video and audio storage and analysis will be again an exhibitor at GPEC Digital 2025, Europe’s leading closed specialized trade fair on digitalization and innovations for police and all security authorities.
GPEC Digital 2025 in Leipzig
The General Police Equipment Exhibition & Conference every year takes place in Leipzig, at the Congress Center Leipzig, and this year’s edition is “GPEC Digital”, centered more around digital technologies and software to help Law Enforcement and Intelligence agencies do their work more efficiently, quicker and with more information to make better decisions. ISID exhibits at GPEC because the company is mainly focused on the Public and Private Security Space, as well as National Intelligence and Government Agencies. Our digital solutions are designed to take advantage of the latest technologies and help police and intelligence officers in their work, simplifying their tasks and offering all the relevant information to a case, gathered from multiple sources, analyzed and processed by AI, to shorten and speed up investigations and help close more cases.
The Intelion platform
Our Intelion platform for AI Video and Audio Analytics is specially tailored for the public Security sector and provides a single platform that orchestrates all investigation steps and AI analytics systems in a single operations screen. No other systems are required, as Intelion can integrate with existing intelligence and investigative platforms.
The unique agnostic Intelion AI Bus allows the use of any AI analyzer, from any vendor or brand, integrating them in the investigative workflow to facilitate decision making, evidence collecting and processing hundreds of camera feeds, video or audio files.
This means that already existing AI analyzers can be kept, lowering the Total Cost of Ownership of the system and simplifying the initial set-up, and lowering the learning curve for all personnel already familiarized with their analyzers.

Analytics capabilities
The Intelion platform can support any type of AI analyzer on the market, and the most common ones are already compatible requiring little to no integration work. The variety of analyzers supported ranges from face recognition, object recognition, audio fingerprint, speech-to-text, translation, OCR and the like, to more specific types like drone models for aerial recognition or noise-resistant transcription. Any current or future analyzer can be integrated in the platform and be part of the workflow. Intelion also supports multiple analyzers of the same type at once (for example speech-to-text) to get the best quality data in each case, due to the differences in the AI models the analyzers are based on.

24/7 Surveillance with workflow automation
Watching security or traffic cameras in a command center is tedious work and ties up agents that could otherwise be doing more interesting and productive work. This is why Intelion takes care of all the surveillance, only requiring attention when something noteworthy comes up.
Intelion provides a single interface with all the tools at hand, and works unattended in 24/7, with its user-programmable rules engine, that intelligently gathers and analyzes information from security cameras or other A/V devices. This customizable workflow automation module takes most of the analytics load off the police officers, freeing them up to do more valuable work. It allows defining priorities for processing more important cases, includes an intelligent filtering system that reduces the load on the analytics engine by up to 70%, ignoring video or audio segments that are not relevant (no movement, no people, no cars, etc.)
System security and scalability
Intelion’s performance dashboard
Intelion is designed as an on-premise solution due to its application in the security and intelligence space, but can be connected securely to external sources to ingest audio/video files or streams. The platform can also receive files over the Internet in special folders, so remote media can be analyzed at once, sent from any point in the field. Geographic positioning data attached to each video source helps locating suspects when they are identified either by face, voice or a license plate, raising an alarm to all the appropriate people.
The system itself is scalable and can adapt its performance incrementally when needed and when the number of cases with digital media analysis grows. Simply adding more hardware gives the platform more processing power and requires almost no changes in its configuration, or even stopping the platform in most cases.
And Intelion can be integrated in already existing VMS systems, thus providing an AI Analytics intelligence layer to the VMS, who is in charge of processing the incoming video feeds, files and streams. This allows to reduce the Intelion analytics requirements and, at the same time, process more signals or files in an efficient manner.
Platform use cases
Intelion is a versatile platform and can be used in different scenarios, depending on the deployment and the specific needs. It is fully configurable and able to serve multiple purposes in the law enforcement and intelligence sectors. Amongst the most frequent are the following:
Media Investigation. Designed specifically to facilitate police and intelligence investigations, Intelion Media Investigation is the solution that allows the massive ingestion of multimedia files or audio & video signals generated in surveillance operations (i.e. from cameras) and automates the analysis, documentation and review tasks of the videos, reducing time and resource requirements dedicated to viewing video content or camera feeds, and providing automated analytics and alarms on detections.
Digital Evidence Management System. Modern evidence in police cases is mostly digital nowadays. Computers, Smartphones and the Internet provide videos, photos, audio recordings, documents or social media content that can help solve a case. But the amount of data that can be collected as digital evidence is huge and requires a system that is able to manage all the information, make sense of it, analyze it, and draw conclusions from the data. Intelion Digital Evidence Management provides a complete environment where to collect, store, analyze and share digital evidence for Law Enforcement Agencies and keep the chain of custody.
Safe City. The Intelion Safe City variation can connect to any VMS and enhance the security infrastructure for a Smart City or Safe City initiative. Intelion adds AI analytics layers to the VMS, so hundreds or thousands of camera feeds can be monitored and searched for specific elements like faces, number plates, objects, etc. Intelion works both in real time and in retrospective.
