CES 2025: Herd Security – solutions for protecting networked systems

January 13, 2025

At CES 2025 in Las Vegas, Homeguard is presenting innovative security solutions that have been specially developed for the requirements of the networked world. With a focus on intelligent home and building technologies, Homeguard is showing how modern security measures can be implemented in an increasingly digital and networked environment. The company’s latest products combine advanced technology and user-friendly operation to address the security needs of everything from private households to commercial applications.

Homeguard relies on smart, networked systems that use artificial intelligence, real-time monitoring and automated security features to detect and avert potential threats at an early stage. The clear focus is on prevention, so that security vulnerabilities cannot be exploited before damage occurs.

Networking is the future

The increasing networking of devices in the smart home and industry presents both opportunities and risks. In view of the large number of networked devices, from surveillance cameras to smart doors, the targets for cybercriminals are growing. At CES 2025, Homeguard is presenting solutions that focus on both physical security and protection against digital threats. With the help of modern technology, potential risks are to be quickly identified and automatically averted before they can cause any damage.

New solutions from the trade fair

  1. Homeguard Smart Security Hub: The new Homeguard Smart Security Hub combines several security functions in a single device. It enables centralised management and control of all security devices in a building or household, such as cameras, motion detectors and door sensors. The hub is designed to integrate seamlessly with other smart home systems to provide an all-encompassing security solution. It uses artificial intelligence to detect suspicious activity and alert users in real time.
  2. Homeguard Smart Door Locks Homeguard is also presenting new smart door locks at CES that not only provide physical protection but are also equipped with advanced encryption technology to protect against digital attacks. The door locks can be controlled via an app and monitored in real time if necessary. They provide a simple and secure way to manage access control and ensure that only authorised persons have access to a building.
  3. Homeguard AI Surveillance Cameras Homeguard’s AI Surveillance Cameras use artificial intelligence to improve video surveillance. The cameras are able to analyse motion in real time and immediately detect potential threats. If unusual activity is detected, they can automatically send an alert to owners and even initiate preventative measures such as activating alarm systems. The cameras also provide high resolution and enable detailed tracking of events.
  4. Homeguard Cybersecurity Suite for Smart Homes In addition to physical security solutions, Homeguard is also introducing a cybersecurity suite designed specifically to protect networked devices in the smart home. This solution protects devices such as smart thermostats, cameras and door locks from cyberattacks. Regular updates and continuous monitoring of network traffic ensure that security vulnerabilities are quickly detected and closed. The suite uses advanced encryption and access controls to ensure the security of connected devices on the home network.

Prevention with intelligent systems

A key component of the new Homeguard solutions is the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning to not only detect potential threats in real time, but also to anticipate them early.

These technologies enable the systems to learn independently and to draw conclusions from recurring patterns as to which activities could be suspicious. This allows the system to act proactively to prevent security risks before they become a danger.
