‘Broadband & Connectivity 2025’: Axians Germany presents future-proof network infrastructures

May 8, 2025

From 3 to 5 June 2025, Axians Germany will be at ANGA COM in Cologne to showcase what tomorrow’s networks will look like under the motto ‘Broadband & Connectivity’. In addition to classic broadband expansion, the Frankfurt-based IT and telecommunications specialists are focusing on AI-supported cyber security, resource-saving construction methods, flexible 5G solutions such as the ‘Axians M30’ mobile radio mast and comprehensive managed services. The aim is to provide service providers and carriers with infrastructures that are not only powerful, but also environmentally friendly and highly secure – from planning and implementation to 24/7 operation.

Axians Germany is attending this year’s ANGA COM in Cologne with the clear aim of actively shaping the next step in the design of future-proof networks for service providers and carriers. Under the motto ‘Broadband & Connectivity’, the company will be presenting a comprehensive portfolio in Hall 8, Stand A51, from 3 to 5 June 2025, which, in addition to classic broadband expansion, will also focus on highly topical issues such as artificial intelligence, sustainability and carrier-class security. As a general contractor with over 20 years of experience in the planning and implementation of ICT infrastructures, Axians Germany sees itself not only as a technical service provider, but also as a strategic partner that focuses equally on efficiency, environmental friendliness and innovative strength.

In the field of cyber security, Axians impressively demonstrates with its ‘smartSOC’ how state-of-the-art AI-supported analysis methods can be combined with human expertise to form a proactive protective shield. Visitors can experience live how automated security analyses continuously detect and prioritise threat scenarios and neutralise them through targeted interventions in accordance with applicable data protection regulations. This integrative approach illustrates Axians’ understanding of security not as an afterthought, but as an indispensable part of any network architecture that is seamlessly embedded in planning, implementation and operational processes.

In parallel with cyber security, Axians is demonstrating its in-depth expertise in broadband expansion in both fixed and mobile networks. From fibre pulling to the commissioning of 5G antennas, the company offers a 360° service portfolio covering all phases of an expansion project – from site analysis and digital route planning to turnkey handover. Axians relies on modern processes such as HDD drilling and modular fibre optic containers, which reduce emissions, minimise material consumption and thus make expansion not only faster but also more resource-efficient. The addition of LoRa networks for the Internet of Things underlines how comprehensively Axians understands networking today.

An eye-catcher at the trade fair stand is the mobile radio mast ‘Axians M30’, which can be set up in a few minutes without any complicated approval procedures. Its flexibility makes it the ideal solution for large events, temporary network outages or the rapid deployment of 5G campus networks in industrial facilities. The ‘M30’ symbolises Axians’ philosophy of combining technical excellence with pragmatic and immediately deployable solutions to ensure network coverage and connectivity even under challenging conditions.

Sustainability is a recurring theme throughout the entire trade fair presentation: low-emission construction vehicles, digitally optimised route planning and the use of recyclable materials on the construction site are just a few examples of how Axians balances ecological responsibility and economic success. Together with partners from the e-mobility sector, the company will also be showcasing charging solutions for electric vehicles in which planning, installation and operation are just as seamlessly integrated as managed services for maintenance and 24/7 support. Axians is thus emphasising that it sees electric mobility as part of a holistic broadband strategy.

At the cutting edge of technological development, Axians is also positioning itself as an innovator in the virtualisation and automation of network processes. In its in-house Innovation Testing Centre, the company develops and tests disaggregated BNG architectures in which the control and user levels are separated. This approach enables service providers to scale their networks agilely and respond flexibly to changing requirements. The virtualised carrier technologies presented demonstrate how Axians uses automation and standardisation to reduce operating costs, increase service quality and, at the same time, relieve IT teams of routine tasks.

Managed services round out Axians’ portfolio and are available either as a white label offering for carriers or as an integrated service package for end customers. With a network of experienced technicians and a broad partner ecosystem, Axians ensures that networks are always up to date and can be quickly expanded or adapted as needed. The combination of innovative products, sustainable construction methods and a strong service promise makes the Axians stand at ANGA COM 2025 a port of call for anyone looking for a powerful, secure and future-oriented network infrastructure. Visitors are cordially invited to visit stand A51 to learn about the wide range of solutions and talk to Managing Directors Henry Frey and Olaf Niemeitz about the digital future of connectivity.
