Comprehensive education and presentation solutions from Dahua Technology at didacta

January 27, 2025

Dahua Technology is presenting its comprehensive portfolio of education solutions at the didacta education trade fair in Stuttgart. The company is placing a particular focus on its educational interactive DeepHub board solutions, LED walls for auditoriums and lecture halls from the UH series, and the display solutions from the digital signage series that are indispensable for schools. And because schools and universities need more than ‘just’ a digital board, Dahua customers can get all the display solutions they need from a single source.

Dahua’s educational solutions are based on three important values: student-centred and group-based learning, intelligent support for teachers and students, and innovative school work. These solutions support schools, universities and innovative kindergartens in building a modern and innovative digital campus and implementing the digital transformation of education.

An educational school board solution: the intelligent, modern Dahua DeepHub whiteboard

Skills such as communication, collaboration, time management and proactive learning are extremely important if students are to be prepared for the future. Innovative tools coupled with Dahua DeepHub whiteboards enable learners to learn intuitively, playfully, proactively and interactively at the same time. In Stuttgart, Dahua will be presenting various solutions for the education sector with 4K in sizes from 65 to 135 inches with the latest technical equipment. Based on over 20 years of experience, Dahua’s product developers are aware that technology alone is not enough. That is why the company offers its customers comprehensive solutions (especially with powerful educational software) and not just a digital whiteboard.

Innovative LED walls – because in education, big is rarely big enough

Events often take place in the large auditorium or lecture halls, which presents teachers with the challenge of sharing content with a large audience in a way that is easy to read for everyone. Dahua has designed its LED walls with exactly this in mind. They are available in almost any size.

For flexible events, a large, portable, intelligent presentation system is often required. To ensure that everything is clearly visible even in the back rows, it should be as large as possible, but it must also be possible to transport it reasonably. The UH series is ideal for this. The LED walls of the UH series impress with their generous unfolded format of approx. 3 x 2.6 m – but thanks to their innovative design, they can be folded to a very handy format of approx. 1.8 m x 1.95 m x 0.8 m, which means they can be transported in normal lifts. They are delivered pre-assembled and are fully operational in just two minutes without installation. Thanks to its hyper-image processing technology including powerful AI, the UH series displays vivid colours with high-quality details in 2K HDR and appears clearer, more natural and more realistic overall than conventional LED monitors. It is even possible to flexibly connect two LED screens by combining the image signals, resulting in an impressive image width of approx. 6 m.

The technical highlights include high storage capacities, the latest processors, both Android and Windows operating systems (optional), freely scalable images, the simultaneous processing of four HDMI signals and unrivalled sound effects with surround sound in a particularly wide frequency range. With only 0.5 W standby power consumption, the UH series is extremely energy efficient and offers various dehumidification functions for a long LED lifespan.

LCD Digital Signage Series

The simple and elegant display systems of the LCD Digital Signage series are ideal for all applications in educational institutions that do not require interactivity, such as displaying timetables or substitution plans. A so-called digital bulletin board is also likely to be needed or the weekly or monthly meal plans are to be displayed in the cafeteria. Dahua has designed the LCD Digital Signage device series for all these (and many other) applications. They impress with a long service life and offer high image quality – with screen diagonals of 55, 65 or 75 inches. They can be used vertically or horizontally, and mounted on a wall or floor. They enable network access and are ideal for displaying multimedia content and advertising. And because things can get hectic in schools and universities, it goes without saying that they are made of high-quality metal to withstand the rough and tumble of everyday school life.

They also support a wide range of media such as images, videos, audio and files in Word, Excel, PPT, TXT or PDF formats, as well as the insertion of websites, streaming media, subtitles, notifications and more. Depending on your needs, several elements can be integrated as plug-ins, e.g. weather, time or a countdown timer. Media can be conveniently imported locally via USB or created as projects on the MPS (Media Publishing System) platform, from where they can be transferred directly to the end device via the network connection. The MPS platform, which is of course included in the scope of delivery, also offers extensive remote control options. For example, the device can be switched on and off, restarted, the screen can be rotated and the brightness and volume can be adjusted. Thanks to split-screen, the screen can be divided into several windows, each displaying different content. This practical remote control can save considerable costs and effort for daily operation.
