Keyfactor acquires InfoSec Global and CipherInsights to strengthen quantum-resistant security solutions

May 18, 2025

Keyfactor, a leading provider of digital trust solutions, has announced the acquisition of InfoSec Global, a specialist in cryptographic posture management, and CipherInsights, a technology from Quantum Xchange for detecting cryptographic risks. These strategic acquisitions expand Keyfactor’s portfolio in cryptographic visibility, automation, and post-quantum security.

The acquisitions support Keyfactor’s goal of providing organizations with an integrated platform to identify, assess, and automatically secure cryptographic assets. The focus is particularly on the challenges surrounding the upcoming transition to quantum-resistant security standards.

Expansion of the platform with detection and analysis functions

The integration of InfoSec Global and CipherInsights technologies adds new features to Keyfactor’s platform:

  • AgileSec Analytics provides comprehensive detection of cryptographic elements in devices, applications, source code, cloud workloads, and more.
  • AgileSec Agility enables centralized management and updating of cryptographic components without interfering with the source code, regardless of the standard used.
  • CipherInsights passively monitors network traffic in real time, detects cryptographic vulnerabilities, and supports regulatory requirements with pre-built compliance templates.

Holistic control over cryptographic infrastructures

With the expanded platform, companies can transparently monitor their entire cryptographic landscape and respond to risks in a targeted manner. The consolidated solution enables continuous inventory, assessment, and migration of cryptographic systems—an important step toward quantum-resistant security architecture.

Market development and company growth

The acquisitions come against a backdrop of increasing M&A activity in the cybersecurity sector. Companies are increasingly looking for holistic security solutions that meet growing demands for transparency, agility, and compliance.

Keyfactor has experienced strong growth in recent years. The company surpassed the US$100 million annual recurring revenue (ARR) mark and has received multiple awards for its innovation and growth, including from Deloitte, Inc. 5000 and Frost & Sullivan’s Frost Radar™ 2024 for PKI-as-a-Service.
