Rhombus acquires Dashdive to optimise cloud costs

March 6, 2025

Rhombus, a leading provider of cloud-based physical security solutions, is acquiring Dashdive, a SaaS platform for analysing and optimising multi-tenant cloud costs.

The company is already using Dashdive to monitor its cloud spending in detail, per camera and customer. With the acquisition, Rhombus is fully integrating the technology to provide more efficient, cost-effective security solutions to its global customer base.

‘With over 50,000 locations worldwide, it’s critical that we have a deep understanding of our cloud costs,’ said Brandon Salzberg, VP of Engineering. ‘Dashdive has already helped us significantly. This acquisition will enable us to increase our efficiency and offer customers better prices and optimised services.’

Dashdive, a Y-Combinator startup, develops tools for granular analysis of cloud costs. ‘Rhombus has used our product to improve its service – the perfect validation of our vision,’ said Adam Shugar, CTO and co-founder.

The acquisition strengthens Rhombus’ growth trajectory with over 3,000 customers, ranging from schools to Fortune 500 companies. Dashdive’s expertise will help Rhombus remain at the forefront of innovation in modern security solutions. The Dashdive team will be integrated into Rhombus to ensure a smooth technology merger.
