The new Deputy Police President at the Ulm Police Headquarters is Aşkin Bingöl. He will take up his post at the beginning of April and, in addition to his role as deputy head of the department, will also take over as head of the Ulm management and operations staff. His predecessor, Josef Veser, has been police president since November 2024.

The 51-year-old Senior Criminal Director was born in the Alb-Donau district. He has already held a variety of posts in the Baden-Württemberg police force and can draw on many years of experience in the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of State. With the new position at the Ulm Police Headquarters, he is also returning to his home region for work after many years in Stuttgart.
