Dormakaba appoints Heather Torrey as Executive Vice President Americas

Dormakaba has appointed Heather Torrey as its new Executive Vice President for the Americas region. With this appointment, the company is strengthening its leadership structure in North America and is committed to further growth in the American market.

Torrey joins Dormakaba from Honeywell, where she was most recently General Manager responsible for the Security and Access Solutions business unit in the Americas. She has extensive experience in leading international sales organisations, managing complex channel structures and operating in global markets. She spent more than ten years of her career in the Asia-Pacific region.

In her new role, Torrey will be responsible for developing and implementing the commercial strategy in the region. Her responsibilities will also include strengthening customer relationships and aligning regional activities more closely with global corporate objectives.

The company views the appointment as an important step in its growth strategy for North America. Torrey is expected to draw on her experience in transformation, organisational development and team leadership to deliver additional value to customers and partners.

She will be based in Indianapolis, the headquarters of Dormakaba Americas.
