3DX-RAY Ltd has successfully sold multiple units of its AS1-ISC Systems, each equipped with both AS1 and AS2 panels, to a law enforcement agency in North Africa.
The 3DX-RAY ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) is a fully integrated robust, lightweight amorphous silicon portable x-ray inspection system. With a primary 22” touch display, computer communications and power supplies consolidated into a single, rugged waterproof case. With the addition of a secondary display tablet, ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) offers high flexibility in deployment to meet the wide variety of user applications and threat scenarios.
The order includes both the AS1 and AS2 panels with each unit. The AS1 detector panel has a large imaging area of 43cm x 35cm, meaning the operator to scan typical bags and packages in a single scan. The AS2 has a smaller footprint using the latest glassless technology inside to reduce size and weight. It boasts an excellent dead zone cut off, down to less than 3mm on two sides and is designed specifically for searches and scans in confined spaces.
The combination of technologies used in ThreatScan®-AS1(ISC) offers exceptional X-ray imaging performance, 3DX-RAYs renowned advanced materials discrimination, and sophisticated image processing software.
The ThreatScan® range is suitable for use in suspect bag and package inspection in locations such as mass transit rail and bus stations, shopping malls, airports, stadia and sports arenas. The system is also used for general security inspection by first responders such as Police, Military, Government Security agencies and Technical Surveillance Counter Measures.
“We are thrilled to support this North African Law Enforcement Agency with our advanced X-ray imaging solutions,” said Vince Deery, CEO of 3DX-RAY. “This sale underscores our commitment to enhancing security and providing innovative technology that meets the specific needs of our clients.”
