A+A and glasstec under new management: Lars Wismer to become new Director

As of 1st of December 2022 Lars Wismer (49) will lead the team of A+A, International Trade Fair for Safety, Security and Health at Work as well as glasstec, the world’s leading trade fair for the glass sector. As Director, he will be responsible not only for these leading trade fairs but also for the international Occupational Safety & Health Portfolio including the TOS+H, CIOSH and OS+HA trade fairs as well as the international portfolio Glass Technologies with the glasspex and glasspro trade fairs for the Indian market. 

“I look forward to being back on board at Messe Düsseldorf again and to working with a strong team to further expand the leading position of the two leading trade fairs and the international portfolios,” explains Lars Wismer.

Wismer is a familiar face at Messe Düsseldorf. Having worked as a Senior Project Manager for 16 years, the event professional knows Messe Düsseldorf very well. In addition, he has extensive experience in the management and marketing of large, international events. Most recently he was in charge of D.SPORTS Events, Sales, PR/Communication and Marketing as Executive Director Sports at D.LIVE GmbH & Co. KG.
