Acre Security, a global provider of security platforms, has appointed Jon Nelson as Senior Vice President of Engineering. Nelson has more than 25 years of experience leading cross-functional development and engineering teams and will be responsible for Acre Security’s global engineering strategy and driving key transformation initiatives.

Prior to joining Acre Security, Nelson led the managed services team in the digital division at Rockwell Automation. Previously, he was a partner at Kalypso, where he implemented a transformation programme in the medical sector and significantly shortened product cycles.

In his new role, Nelson will report directly to the executive management team and will be responsible for modernising the technology architecture, optimising development processes and ensuring that product development is consistently aligned with business and customer requirements.

‘Jon Nelson brings valuable experience in cloud platforms, software development and systems engineering,’ said Kumar Sokka, CEO-designate of Acre Security.

‘His expertise will help us drive our innovation agenda and deliver secure, scalable solutions.’

Nelson adds: ‘I am excited to join Acre Security. Together, we will shape the future of how security solutions are designed and delivered, creating real value for our customers.’
