air cargo Europe 2027 expands to two halls at transport logistic

October 27, 2026

More than 240 companies have confirmed their participation. The event will provide additional exhibition space and move its conference to larger meeting rooms.

The international air cargo industry will meet at transport logistic in Munich from 26 to 29 April 2027. For the first time, air cargo Europe will occupy two entire halls. Across approximately 22,000 square metres, airlines, airports, air freight service providers and shippers will come together within the wider setting of the trade fair.

Demand for air freight remains strong. According to IATA, global air cargo demand rose by 4.4 per cent year on year in August 2026, measured in cargo tonne-kilometres. The air cargo Europe exhibition space will grow by more than seven per cent compared with the previous event.

International industry players return

Around six months before the event, more than 240 companies have confirmed their participation. Returning exhibitors include Qatar Airways Cargo, Emirates SkyCargo, Etihad Cargo, Saudia Cargo, Delta Cargo and Cathay Cargo. The show has also seen particularly strong exhibitor growth from China. Further bookings, including the companies represented on joint stands, are expected over the coming months.

To make room for additional exhibitors, the two conference forums will move to neighbouring halls. As part of transport logistic, air cargo Europe brings the air freight sector together with companies from road, rail and maritime transport, as well as IT, telematics and intralogistics.

“We are pleased with this very positive interim result. The commitments from leading industry players underscore the importance of air cargo Europe. As part of transport logistic, it provides the air freight sector with the right setting to strengthen business relationships and engage with partners across the supply chain,” says Dr Robert Schönberger, Global Industry Lead, transport logistic Exhibitions.

More space for industry discussions

The air cargo Europe conference will also have a new venue in 2027. It will move to meeting rooms on the first floor of Hall A1, providing more space for in-depth discussions and focused exchange within the air cargo industry. The conference is open to all transport logistic visitors.

Under the theme “From Cargo to Code”, the programme will address artificial intelligence, clean technology in aviation, automation and resilience. These topics reflect the sector’s focus on technological development and the resilience of international air cargo supply chains.
