On 21 November 2025, security professionals from across the globe convened in Frankfurt am Main for the Ajax Special Event under the motto “Dare to Be First”. Far from a conventional trade show, the presentation featured a cinematic, Hollywood-style production, with managers presenting the innovations in a clean, “Apple-style” format. The event reached audiences in 26 languages, with 94 local events across 35 countries, featuring 13 speakers and the unveiling of 55 new products.
For installers, the event marked a milestone: Ajax introduced the world’s first wireless Grade 3 intrusion detection system, demonstrating that wireless technology has now achieved the highest security certification and opening up entirely new opportunities for complex installations.
Wireless Grade 3 Security Solution with Superior Hub G3 Jeweller
At the core of the new system is the Superior Hub G3 Jeweller. This wireless control panel supports up to 250 detectors, including motion and door/window sensors, sirens, panic buttons, keypads, radio repeaters, and integration modules. Certified to EN 50131-1 Grade 3, it meets the most stringent security standards, making it suitable for banks, data centres, and other high-security sites.
The system communicates via Superior Jeweller technology, providing a theoretical range of up to 3,500 m and robust jamming resistance. Installers benefit from faster, more flexible deployments compared with traditional wired systems, reducing both installation time and cost.
Video Surveillance: Baseline and Superior Series
Ajax now offers its video products in two dedicated lines.
- Baseline Series: New HLVF cameras with motorised varifocal lenses and autofocus allow flexible switching between detailed and wide-angle views. The H2D NVR series supports two hard drives (up to 24 TB) and two recording modes (duplication/sequential) for reliable data retention. PoE connectivity enables direct connection of up to 16 cameras via a single network cable, simplifying installation for medium-sized projects.
- Superior Series: Designed for high-end projects, Superior HLVF cameras combine hybrid IR illumination with a P‑Iris lens for crisp images under all lighting conditions. Two-way audio via a built-in speaker allows active deterrence. The Superior NVRs are the first Ajax devices with integrated AI, supporting up to 32 channels, four simultaneous 4K streams, and up to 24 TB storage. Enhanced AI detection enables future intelligent features, particularly valuable for large-scale commercial or industrial deployments.
Both Baseline and Superior cameras are compatible with MountCam wall brackets, allowing optimal angles and clear lines of sight while maintaining sleek aesthetics.
Control Panels for Large Installations: Superior MegaHub and Hub Hybrid 2
- Superior MegaHub: Ajax’s most powerful control panel to date, connecting up to 999 devices (wired or wireless), 100 security groups, 100 automation scenarios, and 1,000 user accounts. As a Grade 3 device, it is suitable for high-risk, large-scale sites such as shopping centres, logistics hubs, factories, and warehouses. There is no limit on the number of sirens, and the panel includes external antenna connections for extended radio and cellular coverage.
- Superior Hub Hybrid 2: Designed for medium and large installations, this hybrid panel supports up to 250 devices without siren limits and doubles the capacity of its predecessor (25 security groups, 64 automation scenarios). Also Grade 3-certified, it enables scalable high-security deployments without complex expansion requirements.
The Hub Hybrid 2 will be available in Q4 2025, with the MegaHub following in early 2026.
Perimeter Protection: Curtain Outdoor Mini & CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount
Ajax expanded its perimeter protection line with two new curtain-style detectors:
- Curtain Outdoor Mini Jeweller: Ideal for narrow zones such as windows or doors, this sensor creates a flat motion curtain and offers two modes (standard and pet immunity) for reliable detection of human intruders.
- CurtainCam Outdoor HighMount (PhOD) Jeweller: Combines a curtain sensor with an integrated camera for photo alarm verification. IR and K-Band sensors trigger automatic snapshots when the detection field is breached. The device swivels 87°, operates with near-zero false alarms thanks to dual detection logic, and runs for up to three years on replaceable lithium batteries.
For installers, these devices provide early, verifiable alerts for fences, pergolas, and windowed areas where conventional motion detectors are less effective.
BP Jeweller Battery Hub for Off-Grid Installations
The battery-powered BP Jeweller hub now features an enhanced energy-saving mode, extending battery life up to four years. This allows installers to deploy systems in locations without mains power – such as temporary warehouses, agricultural buildings, or construction sites – without frequent maintenance. The updated hub is already available in select countries, with global rollout planned for early 2026.
Ajax Services: SIM, Cloud Storage, Ultra DP
Ajax continues to expand its professional installer services:
- Ajax SIM: Backup SIM for instant, reliable alarm communication.
- Ajax Ultra DP: Preconfigured dual-path solution for GSM/LAN redundancy.
- Ajax Cloud Storage: Secure cloud archive for video from DoorBell and IndoorCam.
- Ajax Photo Mode: Alarm photo module for verification in third-party monitoring centres.
Installers can now activate and bill these services directly in the Ajax PRO app, streamlining subscription management and enabling end-user payments via the app.
EN54-Certified Wireless Fire Alarm System
Ajax also unveiled a fully wireless EN54-certified fire alarm system. Smoke and heat detectors communicate wirelessly with the panel, which itself requires no mains connection. Installation is simplified, allowing projects to be completed in hours instead of days. The system can be managed locally or remotely via the Ajax app and will be widely available in Europe by early 2026, enabling rapid deployment of commercial fire protection solutions.
New Production Facility in Vietnam
To meet growing demand in EMEA, Ajax inaugurated an 8,300 m² production facility in Hanoi in November 2025. The factory will manufacture all Ajax devices and create over 1,000 jobs within a year, complementing existing plants in Ukraine and Turkey. For installers in the DACH region, this expansion promises shorter lead times and improved device availability, supporting the rapid rollout of complex installations.
Outlook
The Ajax Special Event 2025 in Frankfurt set a benchmark for the next generation of security systems. Wireless Grade 3 solutions, AI-supported video devices, and fully wireless fire alarm systems demonstrate a clear focus on flexible, scalable, and integrated security solutions. For installer-led projects in the DACH market, this translates to faster deployment, modular scalability, and new subscription-based revenue models – all without compromising on standards or security.
The event captured a sense of excitement and forward-looking optimism, signalling a shift toward a smarter, more connected future in security technology.
