ASSA ABLOY acquires Sennco Solutions in the United States

The international access solutions group ASSA ABLOY is further expanding its retail business in North America and acquiring the US company Sennco Solutions. Sennco specialises in asset protection technologies and security solutions for the retail sector, particularly in the health and beauty segment.

Stephanie Ordan, Executive Vice President and Head of Global Technologies Business Unit Global Solutions, emphasises the strategic fit: ‘Sennco is an established provider of retail security solutions for a broad customer base in the health and beauty segment. Its expertise in anti-theft solutions perfectly complements our portfolio in the Retail business area. We look forward to working with Sennco’s experienced team.’

Sennco was founded in 2000 and employs around 40 people. Its headquarters are located in Plainfield, Illinois (USA). The company will be part of ASSA ABLOY’s Global Solutions Retail business area.

In the 2025 financial year, Sennco generated sales of around USD 33 million (approx. SEK 330 million) with a strong EBIT margin. According to the company, the transaction will have a positive impact on earnings per share (EPS) from the outset.
