Aumüller Aumatic at BAU 2023: Innovation creates added value

More power: KS8 chain drive – stronger than any other in its size class and particularly fast at the same time
No chain drive in its size class has more power. The KS8 from Aumüller applies an impressive 800 N of force to the chain in a controlled manner to safely open and close even large-format façade elements. Despite its high force and compact dimensions, the KS8 achieves a speed of up to 22 mm per second. This means it achieves 1,000 mm of stroke, including unlocking, in 60 seconds. This saves money, because a larger opening area per window reduces the total number of windows required.

More modularity: create individual drive solutions with the Aumüller Click System
The KS4 power supply unit and the KS4 latch are the two new highlights of the Aumüller Click family. The power supply unit is simply connected flush with the standard drive via the plug. A 230 V KS4 drive is thus created with a click. The pluggable KS4 latch accesses the central locking of the window and ensures secure locking. Both new developments have the same housing dimensions as the KS4 standard drive. This means that the system does not lose anything in terms of aesthetics, even in an individual combination. The Click system not only makes the hearts of architects beat faster, but also reduces the stock for the installer. Even on the building site, uncomplicated adjustments can be made to the drive system.

More flexibility: ventilation with the Smart Vent Box
The retrofittable control modules simplify the creation and adaptation of ventilation solutions according to the user’s wishes. Thanks to their compact design, they fit into any standard flush-mounted box. The spring-loaded terminals allow wiring without long screwing. Automatic teach-in takes place at the push of a button without any additional programming steps. A test run for function control is started via the integrated ventilation button. The installation advantages and the resulting time savings create real added value for the installer. For the planner, the intelligent interface makes it possible to establish communication with the modern building management system even after commissioning. This flexibility right up to the end simplifies the planning process and saves money – the modules are only used where the functionality is really needed.
