Belden focuses on scalable, high-performance networks for modern data centres

June 19, 2026

Rising data volumes, higher bandwidth requirements and the growing need for flexible infrastructure are presenting modern enterprise data centres with increasing challenges. There is a need for solutions that combine high port densities, maximum reliability and future-proof scalability. Belden addresses these requirements with a comprehensive portfolio for data and network connectivity – ranging from copper and fibre-optic solutions to intelligent power distribution.

At the heart of this is the REVConnect connection system. This tool-free and reversible solution was developed specifically for high-density Cat 6A applications and enables efficient installation even in space-constrained environments. The compact design facilitates cabling in data centres with high port density whilst reducing the installation effort.

The combination of Cat 6A performance and reversible termination is designed to minimise rework and cabling errors. This contributes to greater operational reliability and improved infrastructure availability – a crucial factor for business-critical applications.

Furthermore, Belden employs a modular concept that simplifies changes and expansions, thereby supporting the flexible scaling of growing data centre environments. The 10GX Cat 6A solutions are designed for 10GBASE-T networks and meet the requirements of high-density deployments whilst maintaining high signal integrity.

Through the combination of high-performance cabling, simplified installation and modular expandability, Belden aims to provide data centre operators with an infrastructure that not only meets current performance requirements but also efficiently supports future growth.
