In the age of digitalisation, new control and automation technologies enable new ways of working. That fire protection can also be further digitalised was demonstrated by the first networked sprinkler control centre, where all data of the sprinkler system is monitored with the help of CalanOnTrack®.
CalanOnTrack® is an application for sprinkler systems. It simplifies maintenance and serves as an aid for the weekly checks by the operator. This enables predictive maintenance, so that failures can be reduced to a minimum and thus costs can be saved. Not only faults are digitally recorded in the app, but also defects and measures. The data is available in real time, and any checks and inspections that need to be carried out are displayed by the app via remote analysis. Several systems have already been installed at customers of Calanbau Brandschutzanlagen GmbH.
Wildfire Response Under Pressure: How Drones, AI and Robotics Could Close the Critical Time Gap
In wildfire response, the decisive resource is not always water, manpower or equipment. It is time. The smaller the interval between ignition, detection and effective intervention, the greater the chance of containing a fire before it develops into a far more complex...
