Change at the helm of the supervisory boards at Bundesdruckerei

May 6, 2026

There has been a change in the chairmanship of the supervisory board at Bundesdruckerei: Martina Koederitz is taking over as chair of the supervisory boards of Bundesdruckerei Gruppe GmbH and Bundesdruckerei GmbH. She succeeds Dr Kai Beckmann, who stepped down from the boards on 5 May 2026.

Koederitz has been a member of the supervisory boards since 2023 and brings extensive experience from international technology and management roles. She is best known for her long-standing career at IBM, where her responsibilities included overseeing the business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. She later took on global leadership roles in the Automotive, Aerospace & Defence and Industrial Products sectors. She is also a member of the supervisory board of Robert Bosch GmbH.

With this appointment, Bundesdruckerei is reinforcing its focus on technology and digitalisation policy. In recent years, the group has increasingly positioned itself as a key IT and security service provider for the federal government – for example in the areas of digital identities, secure infrastructures and government platform technologies.

Dr Kai Beckmann has been a member of the Supervisory Board since 2016 and has chaired it since May 2023. According to the Federal Ministry of Finance, he played a key role in guiding Bundesdruckerei’s transformation into a technology company for the federal government.
