Change at the top of the company: New management team at Siedle

June 13, 2023

A team of three managing directors is taking over entrepreneurial responsibility at Siedle, the manufacturer of door communication technology. Gabriele Siedle, 71, is retiring from operational management in the middle of the year. She will remain associated with the company in another position.
Jochen Cura, 47, has been at the top of the company for years as Commercial Director. Peter Strobel, 60, has been the new Managing Director for Market and Innovation since January. Until then, Strobel had been Business Director of Corporate Communications for nine years. Christoph Weber, 44, has worked for Siedle for many years in various positions, most recently as Managing Director, and has been the new Managing Director Technology since January.

Key competences in the team
The new organisational structure with a three-man management team is a conscious decision to safeguard the identity of the medium-sized company and make it fit for the future – in line with Siedle’s guiding principles. “These guidelines are our compass for the long-term corporate strategy”, explains Peter Strobel. “Siedle has a very solid foundation on which to build. Our team personifies all the key competences we need: for the development of innovations and the refinement of digital business models as well as for more efficient production at the Furtwangen location under the framework conditions of Industry 4.0.”

Gabriele Siedle presides over umbrella company and family foundation
The previous Chairwoman of the Management Board Gabriele Siedle is retiring from the operational management of the company. She will remain Managing Director of the holding company in which all companies of the Siedle Group are held (Siedle in Furtwangen, Novotechnik in Ostfildern-Ruit, K+E in Mönchweiler, Contelec in Biel/Switzerland).
As a member of the board of the Siedle Family Foundation, Gabriele Siedle also ensures that the company continues to be managed in accordance with its guiding principles and values. This includes safeguarding the Furtwangen location. At the company headquarters, Siedle keeps many processing steps under its own control and generates more than 80 percent of the value added.
