Efficiency and security for retail companies: Smart access solutions from Salto at EuroShop 2026

February 13, 2026

At EuroShop 2026 in Düsseldorf (Hall 6, Stand C19), Salto will demonstrate how access control can combine efficiency, security and sustainability in the retail sector. Practical solutions for real-time access management with the Salto KS cloud platform and the Salto Space on-premise platform will be on display.

The retail sector continues to be under severe pressure: inventory losses are rising, organised theft is on the increase and scarce resources are putting a strain on daily routines. At the same time, chain stores need to reliably control opening and closing times, delivery windows and area-specific access – across multiple locations and with clear responsibilities.

Salto will be presenting its latest electronic access solutions for retailers and chain stores at EuroShop 2026 in Düsseldorf from 22 to 26 February 2026. The focus is not only on security, but above all on concrete added value for retailers: optimised processes, reduced workload in day-to-day business, increased flexibility, long-term cost reduction, regulatory security and future-proofing in a rapidly changing market environment.

As branch structures and retail concepts vary greatly, Salto offers a wide range of modular hardware and software solutions and technologies that can be combined individually. Doors, gates, warehouses and back offices, access roads, lifts and even furniture can be integrated into a uniform access solution. The wireless components significantly reduce installation effort and costs and are particularly well suited for modernisation projects or growing branch networks.

At its trade fair stand, Salto will be showcasing, among other things, the Salto KS cloud solution and the Salto Space on-premise platform, which enable clear and intuitive management of authorisations, standardisation of processes and transparency across all access events. Visitors to Düsseldorf will experience how a uniform, user-friendly system allows rights to be assigned and revoked on a role-based basis, how locations can be managed centrally or decentrally, and how changes take effect immediately without the need to be on site.

Both platforms follow the same principle: access as a digitally controllable process that increases security and makes work easier at the same time. Salto therefore also offers a wide range of integration options, for example with business-relevant applications such as ERP and directory services or other building technologies.

Retail companies must also comply with increasingly stringent requirements in terms of data protection, occupational safety, documentation and energy efficiency. Salto’s solutions help to reliably meet these requirements. Clear authorisation structures, a uniform database and comprehensive logging functions ensure that companies can operate in an audit-proof and future-proof manner at all times. At the same time, the continuous development of the platforms offers investment security and the opportunity to adapt flexibly to new market requirements.
