Expansion in the Middle East: WAGNER founds new company in Dubai

January 17, 2024

  • Fire protection specialist establishes WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC in Dubai
  • Managing Director is WAGNER Manager Sandeep Hajra
  • First official market presence at Intersec in Dubai from 16 – 18 January 2024

The WAGNER Group, headquartered in Langenhagen near Hanover, has been developing and realising holistic fire protection solutions for a wide range of industries and applications for decades. As part of its strategic internationalisation, WAGNER has now founded a new national subsidiary in the United Arab Emirates in Dubai. The background to the decision in favour of a subsidiary in the EMEA economic area is to be able to optimally support both existing and new projects with a local presence.

From Dubai, the subsidiary WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC will offer fire protection solutions for the entire Middle East. “We see very high potential in this market, not least in co-operation with our OEM partners. With Sandeep Hajra, who has intensively supervised the founding process of the new subsidiary, a competent manager with a high level of expertise and industry know-how is taking over the management of the company. He also knows the markets in the region from his work as Managing Director of WAGNER India and is therefore the ideal person for the development of the new subsidiary,” says Steffen Springer, Managing Director of WAGNER Group GmbH.

Sandeep Hajra adds: “Our activities will initially focus on the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Here we have access to an existing local network of planners and architects and can therefore provide the market with the best possible support.”

WAGNER Fire Safety DMCC is currently exhibiting at Intersec in Dubai from 16 – 18 January.
