Schörghuber opens new branch in Kaltenkirchen

Schörghuber Spezialtüren KG is expanding its presence in northern Germany : in summer 2025, the new Kaltenkirchen branch was opened on the premises of the Hörmann branch in Hamburg. With this step, Schörghuber is specifically exploiting synergies with its parent company – a strategic measure to strengthen the joint market position in the long term.

Decentralised sales structure for greater customer proximity

With the new branch, Schörghuber is continuing to pursue its proven strategy of a decentralised sales structure that focuses on customer proximity and personal support. The sales network is thus growing to a total of 14 regional sales locations in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The main tasks of the employees in Kaltenkirchen include providing technical advice to planners, dealers and fabricators, preparing quotations and cost estimates, and supporting customers with order entry. Direct accessibility is complemented by a comprehensive network of sales representatives and Schörghuber branches, which are available nationwide as competent contacts for architects, dealers and fabricators.

Shared areas

While the Schörghuber team has its own office space, meeting rooms and common areas are shared with Hörmann employees – a concept that further promotes close cooperation within the group of companies. The physical proximity creates an open, collegial atmosphere and enables regular professional exchange. There are plans to also present Schörghuber doors in the showrooms in future.

Welcome by the Hörmann team

The new Schörghuber team was welcomed by Christian Michler, head of the Hörmann branch in Hamburg, and his employees. “The warm welcome from the Hörmann team and the collegial atmosphere on site show how valuable close cooperation within the group of companies is. The physical proximity enables intensive professional exchange, which allows us to make targeted use of synergies in the commercial property business. With the new branch in Kaltenkirchen, we are close to the market and our customers in the north, enabling us to respond even more individually to their requirements,” says René Just, Area Sales Manager North at Schörghuber.
