The SicherheitsExpo has once again demonstrated that modern security solutions today go far beyond individual components. There is a demand for integrated concepts in which hardware, software and intelligent networking work together seamlessly. This was particularly evident at several exhibition stands, where high-performance control centre solutions, professional video technology and open security platforms took centre stage.
Fully equipped control room solutions from a single source
PROCOM GmbH and LEUWICO Individual GmbH demonstrated how modern control rooms can be efficiently planned and implemented. Together, the companies presented a fully equipped control room concept, ranging from video walls through signal control and cabling to ergonomic workstations.
Among other things, the 55-inch TTN-5501 display from AG Neovo was featured. Designed for 24/7 continuous operation, the display meets both NDAA and TAA requirements and is aimed in particular at operators of critical infrastructure and public authorities that prioritise long-term availability and regulatory compliance. For specialist planners and system integrators, the seamless integration of all components provides a single point of contact for complex control centre projects.
Physical security as an integrated end-to-end solution
Funkwerk Security Solutions GmbH highlighted another key area. The company presented its platform for physical security, which brings together various security systems into a unified solution.
AG Neovo’s RX series displays were used at the exhibition stand, complemented by a large-format video wall comprising four PN-55D3 displays. This combination demonstrated how high-resolution visualisation and powerful security software work together to provide security-related information in control centres in a clear and reliable manner. Such integrated end-to-end solutions are becoming increasingly important, particularly for public authorities, operators of critical infrastructure and larger industrial companies.
High-quality video images for security-critical applications
Camera manufacturer VIVOTEK also presented high-performance solutions for professional video surveillance in collaboration with EXPERT-Security GmbH & Co. KG.
The NDAA-compliant cameras were displayed on two SMQ-4301 screens from AG Neovo. The 24/7 series, developed specifically for video surveillance applications, is designed for the continuous display of moving images and offers high image quality for security-critical applications. The combination of high-quality camera technology and optimised security monitors highlighted how important the consistent quality of the entire video chain is for reliable incident detection.
Open platforms integrate security systems
Another crowd-puller was the exhibition stand of VOMATEC Innovations GmbH. The company showcased software solutions that integrate various security systems onto a single platform, thereby enabling centralised security management.
Particularly in complex security environments, there is a growing need to integrate access control, video surveillance, risk management and other systems into a single, unified user interface. Open platform concepts lay the foundation for this whilst simultaneously increasing efficiency and response times in day-to-day operations.
Integration is becoming a key success factor
The SicherheitsExpo made it clear that the market is increasingly shifting from individual products towards fully integrated security solutions. Highly available displays, high-performance video technology, open software platforms and ergonomically designed control centres form the basis of modern security control centres.
The solutions presented impressively demonstrated that the success of future security infrastructures depends not solely on the performance of individual components, but above all on the intelligent interaction of all systems. It is precisely this integration that is increasingly becoming a decisive factor for success for professional security organisations.
