Germany’s leading family-owned security company, the KÖTTER Group, has announced a significant expansion across northern and southern Germany. The company has acquired STuK Sicherheitstechnik GmbH in the north and integrated contracts and staff from DS Security GmbH in the Rhine-Neckar region, enhancing both its technical expertise and the breadth of services offered to clients across retail, industry, healthcare and the public sector.

Strengthening technical capabilities in northern Germany

STuK Sicherheitstechnik GmbH, established in Bremen and Oldenburg for around 20 years, specialises in access control, fire alarm systems and video surveillance. The company also manages projects in Hamburg, Lower Saxony and Schleswig-Holstein. Its integration into the KÖTTER Group expands the company’s capabilities in security technology and technical fire protection, enabling consolidated project delivery, ongoing maintenance and servicing of advanced security systems.

Southern growth through DS Security GmbH

In southern Germany, KÖTTER Security has strengthened its regional presence by taking over DS Security GmbH through an asset deal, including all active contracts and around 40 employees. The acquisition follows the previous management’s withdrawal for health reasons. KÖTTER has confirmed that all roles will be retained and service continuity for clients will be maintained.
