Germany’s private security industry association BDSW is expanding its membership. From 1 August 2026, six additional security companies from across Germany will join the organisation, strengthening its network within the country’s security services sector.
The BDSW, Germany’s Federal Association of the Security Industry, will welcome six new member companies as of 1 August 2026. The new members are based in Berlin, Dresden, Visselhövede, Hamburg and Oberursel, reflecting the association’s nationwide reach.
Joining the BDSW are Agility One GmbH and Mion Protect GmbH, both based in Berlin; conexis GmbH from Dresden; Darkbird GmbH from Visselhövede in Lower Saxony; SHUR Sicherheit & Service GmbH from Hamburg; and TSS Taunus Sicherheit & Service GmbH from Oberursel near Frankfurt.
The BDSW represents companies operating in Germany’s private security industry and serves as an industry voice in discussions with policymakers, businesses and the wider public. Its work covers key issues affecting the sector, including regulatory and economic conditions as well as employment and labour-market matters.
The addition of the six companies further expands the association’s industry network at a time when private security providers are operating in an increasingly complex environment. Alongside traditional guarding and protection services, the sector is facing changing security requirements, technological developments and growing expectations regarding professional standards.
For the BDSW, bringing companies together within an industry association is also intended to support cooperation and the exchange of expertise across the sector. The association sees the new memberships as another step towards pursuing shared objectives and supporting growth and innovation within Germany’s security industry.
The six companies joining the BDSW on 1 August 2026 are:
