Halma acquires healthcare communications specialist Static Systems

January 6, 2026

The Halma Group, a global provider of life-saving technologies, has acquired Wolverhampton-based Static Systems Holdings Limited.

Static Systems specialises in critical communications systems for the healthcare sector. The company’s technologies enable hospital patients to alert medical professionals in emergencies, increasing response times and thus actively contributing to saving lives. Static Systems complements Halma’s existing medical technology division, which includes Centrak Real-Time Locating Systems (RTLS), which improve patient safety by tracking people and equipment in hospitals.

Andrew Williams, CEO of the Halma Group, said:

“Static Systems is an excellent fit with our corporate purpose of creating a safer, cleaner and healthier future for all. The acquisition strengthens our presence in various healthcare facilities and opens up growth opportunities both in international markets and through deeper clinical and technological integration. In addition, Static Systems can provide direct access to the UK healthcare market for existing Halma Medical products, including Centrak RTLS.”

Static Systems will operate as a separate company within Halma’s Medical sector and is expected to complement the Group’s existing technology and service portfolio.
