Hanwha Vision launches first dual lens barcode reader cameras

December 13, 2024

Hanwha Vision has introduced the dual lens barcode reader camera with the models TNS-9040IBC, TNS-9050IBC and TNS-9060IBC, which combines barcode recognition and video capture in a single device. This solution combines precise barcode recognition and AI-powered video surveillance to improve inventory management, traceability and incident investigation. It reduces shipping errors and returns and increases customer satisfaction.

The camera offers 4K resolution, a wide viewing area and a global shutter function for distortion-free images of fast movements, such as on conveyor belts. Since the barcode reader and surveillance camera are combined in a single device, the solution reduces installation and maintenance costs. This improves efficiency and speeds up incident investigation, as location, time and recording details of packages can be checked in one system.

The camera integrates with Hanwha Vision’s Vision Logistics Tracking Software (VLTS) to provide a complete logistics solution that also incorporates third-party hand-held scanners. This solution helps logistics managers increase productivity and cost efficiency while reducing damage and theft.
