Technology group Honeywell is strengthening its Board of Directors with an internationally experienced top manager: Indra Nooyi, former Chair and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, will be appointed as an independent member of the Board of Directors on 1 January 2026.
Indra Nooyi, 70, led PepsiCo as CEO from 2006 to 2018 and chaired the consumer goods company’s board of directors from 2007 to 2019. Prior to that, she served as president and chief financial officer for five years and was already a member of the PepsiCo board. ‘We warmly welcome Indra Nooyi to our Board of Directors,’ said Vimal Kapur, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Honeywell. ‘She brings extensive experience in leading global, diversified companies and a proven track record of driving long-term growth. Her strategic perspective, focus on innovation and financial and operational expertise will ideally complement the skills of our existing board and support our sustainable value creation for shareholders.’
Nooyi joined PepsiCo in 1994 and held various leadership positions in finance, strategy and corporate development. Prior to PepsiCo, she held management positions at ABB, Motorola and the Boston Consulting Group.
In addition to her new role at Honeywell, Nooyi is a member of the board of directors of Amazon, where she chairs the audit committee. She also serves on the supervisory board of Philips, where she is a member of the nomination and corporate governance committee.
