December 15, 2025

Idesco Oy has acquired Exilight Oy, effective January 1, 2026, marking a strategic expansion of its offering to include safety and emergency lighting solutions. Following the acquisition, Exilight products will continue to be marketed under the Exilight brand as part of Idesco’s overall product range.

Founded in 2003, Exilight is one of Finland’s most recognized brands in safety and emergency lighting. The company offers one of the broadest product portfolios in the sector, with solutions widely used not only in Finland but also in international markets. All Exilight products are designed and manufactured in Finland.

As part of the transaction, all Exilight employees will transfer to Idesco and continue their work at the Pirkkala office, ensuring continuity in expertise, product development, and customer support.

The Exilight portfolio includes guide luminaires, exit luminaires, self-contained and self-testing luminaires, safety luminaires for demanding installation environments, emergency lighting control and monitoring centers, as well as the wireless EXIoT safety lighting system. EXIoT is a fully scalable solution capable of supporting projects of any size, offering a level of flexibility that is considered unique in the market.

With the integration of Exilight, Idesco now provides a significantly expanded range of solutions to enhance the safety and security of personnel, buildings, and assets. The combined portfolio enables customers to source integrated solutions for secure access, safe evacuation, and emergency preparedness from a single supplier.

Founded in 1989, Idesco Oy and the newly integrated Exilight Oy are both part of the Lagercrantz Group AB (publ.).
