Infinigate and Torq extend partnership to the DACH region

March 16, 2026

The Infinigate Group and Torq Technologies are further expanding their collaboration and will increasingly bring AI-powered security solutions to Germany, Austria and Switzerland in future. The partnership between the value-added distributor and the provider of agent-based security operations has been in place since May 2025 and is now being specifically extended to the DACH region.

At the heart of the collaboration is the Torq AI SOC platform, which is designed to relieve the burden on Security Operations Centres (SOCs) through automated, AI-powered processes. The platform filters out irrelevant alerts, autonomously prioritises real threats and accelerates analysis and response processes. According to the provider, this significantly reduces both the mean time to investigation (MTTI) and the mean time to resolution (MTTR) of a security incident – without requiring additional staff resources.

A key component of the solution is its agent-based architecture. Unlike traditional security tools, which often require extensive integration and consultancy services, Torq relies on self-service agents. Security teams can deploy these with minimal effort and adapt them to their specific requirements. According to the company, the AI agents are already an integral part of daily SOC operations at numerous Fortune 500 companies, where they handle millions of complex security tasks.

The platform addresses two key challenges facing modern security operations: Firstly, it enables fully automated alarm triage and investigation. Low-relevance alerts are classified immediately, whilst analysts can focus on verified and critical threats. Secondly, an integrated agent builder provides a scalable development environment that allows teams to create their own automation agents. According to the provider, this allows up to a hundred times more alerts to be processed without having to hire additional analysts.

For the Infinigate Group, the expansion of the partnership is a strategic step towards providing channel partners in the DACH region with more AI-based automation solutions. “Thanks to its consistent channel focus, Torq fits perfectly into our portfolio of cybersecurity solutions. “Against the backdrop of increasingly complex threat landscapes, the demand for automation and AI is rising significantly,” explains Udo Schillings, Vendor Alliances Manager DACH at Infinigate.

Torq also views the expansion of the cooperation as an important step towards market development in Europe. “With its pan-European presence as a value-added distributor and its access to security consultancies and managed security service providers, Infinigate is the right partner for our go-to-market approach,” says Pierre Visel, Director EMEA East at Torq Technologies.

Industry analysts predict that agent-based AI will play a central role in threat detection and the response to cyberattacks in the future. Accordingly, the combination of automation, AI-powered analysis and human expertise is becoming increasingly important for modern SOC structures.
