March 27, 2023

It is the highest turnover in the company’s more than 111-year history that Klüh Service Management GmbH has published in its annual report for 2022: 923 million euros. This means that the international Klüh Group increased its sales by 13.4% compared to the previous year. The main contributors to this growth were the Cleaning (up EUR 44.8 million), Catering (up EUR 24 million) and Clinic Service (up EUR 22 million) specialist divisions. However, the Security division also posted a good result, with revenue up by more than 6 million euros, representing growth of 3.7% compared with 2021.

Sustainable success with smart processes and products

Frank Theobald, CEO: “In 2022, we succeeded in further expanding our top performance as a provider of quality infrastructural services. To do so, we harnessed the transformative power of digitization and sustainability in tandem. As an agile company, we have also proven that we keep pace with change and drive innovation.” Innovative developments run through all of Klüh’s specialist areas, with a new business development strategy promoting Klüh’s culture of innovation. The declared goal is to project new business models and pilot them with customers, as well as to expand the existing range of services.

Furthermore, the company has embarked on a structured sustainability path. “We have established a new unit to ensure that our sustainability strategy is implemented,” says Holding Managing Director Christian Frank. “This includes competence teams from cleaning, catering, security, purchasing, administration and marketing, as well as the quality management department.” The Klüh sustainability path is lined by a sustainability management system implemented throughout the company in the form of guidelines, sustainable corporate management, and concrete goals and measures.

Innovations and sustainability also at Klüh’s successful foreign companies

At over EUR 235 million, foreign business accounted for 25.5% of the Klüh Group’s total sales, up 21.3% from EUR 194 million in 2021. In the areas of personnel services, security, hygiene services and infrastructure services, revenue increases can be attributed to higher service level agreements.
