ISE 2026: Vuwall Introduces the Pak One 4K Decoder for Distributed Control Room Applications

January 30, 2026

At ISE 2026, Vuwall will showcase the Pak One, a compact 4K decoder designed specifically for control rooms and adjacent operational environments. The device is engineered to support modern, distributed visualization workflows beyond the boundaries of the central control room.

Compact 4K Decoding for Control Rooms and Beyond

The Pak One is designed as a single-output, single-channel 4K decoder, enabling the reliable distribution of video content to welcome displays, remote workstations, and secondary monitoring points located outside the main control room. Typical use cases include briefing areas, management offices, crisis rooms, and satellite control locations that require access to selected real-time visual information.

Thanks to its compact form factor, the decoder can be easily integrated into existing infrastructures, making it suitable for both new installations and retrofits.

Broad Format Support for Flexible Visualization

Unlike traditional decoders that are limited to a single, fixed codec, the Pak One supports multiple decoding formats. These include H.264, H.265, VNC, sources from the Application Server G2, as well as proprietary streams from the Vustream 350. This multi-format capability allows operators to decode and display a wide variety of content sources within a unified visualization environment.

According to Vuwall, this flexibility clearly differentiates the Pak One from conventional decoder solutions and addresses the growing demand for adaptable, software-driven control room architectures.

Seamless Integration into the Vuwall Ecosystem

The Pak One is part of the broader Pak product family and is fully integrated into the Vuwall ecosystem. Content management and system configuration are handled via the TRx video wall management software, in combination with other core components such as the Application Server G2.

The solution is optimized for distributed visualization environments, where visual content must be securely and efficiently delivered across multiple locations. This makes the Pak One particularly relevant for organizations operating decentralized control room structures or hybrid operational models.

Live Demonstration at ISE 2026

Vuwall will present the Pak One 4K decoder in Hall 5, Stand 5H500 at ISE 2026, offering visitors the opportunity to see the solution in action and explore its role within modern control room workflows.
