Klüh Security expands technology portfolio through Verkada partnership

The German security services provider is adding a cloud-based platform to its portfolio of locally hosted video security solutions. The move gives customers a choice of architectures to suit their security strategies, IT environments and regulatory requirements.

Klüh Security is expanding its intelligent video security portfolio through a strategic partnership with Verkada. The cloud-based platform complements the locally hosted video security solutions the company offers in partnership with Geutebrück.

The expanded portfolio is intended to give customers a choice between on-premises and cloud-based architectures. Klüh Security says it will support them in selecting and implementing solutions that fit their security strategies, existing IT infrastructure and regulatory requirements.

Verkada’s platform brings video surveillance, access control, alarms, environmental sensors and intercom systems together in a centralised environment. AI-powered analytics are designed to help assess security-related events. The platform also supports central management across multiple sites and can be implemented without complex local server infrastructure.

Klüh says the partnership’s main benefit lies in connecting the platform with its operational security services and control-centre capabilities. These include an alarm receiving centre, which receives and processes alerts, and an emergency and service control centre, which assesses incidents and coordinates responses according to defined procedures.

The arrangement is also intended to support the further development of Klüh Security’s intelligent control centre, integrating security technologies with operational expertise.

“Every company has its own security and IT strategy. With Geutebrück and Verkada, we can offer both locally hosted and cloud-based security architectures, while supporting customers with our control-centre expertise and operational security services regardless of the technology they choose,” says Sven Horstmann, Managing Director of Klüh Security. “The result is a security solution shaped around each customer’s requirements.”
