New corporate website impresses the jury with its user-centred approach and technical implementation
The KÖTTER Group has won two awards at the German Brand Award 2026. The corporate website, which underwent a complete overhaul last year, was recognised in the categories “Web and Mobile” and “Brand Experience of the Year”. The jury particularly commended the combination of strategic brand management, digital user experience and technical implementation.
With this relaunch, the family-run business aims to realign its digital communication and simplify access to information for customers, prospective clients and job applicants. The focus was on a revised information architecture, intuitive user guidance and a responsive design for different devices.
Digital platform as part of the corporate strategy
The relaunch forms part of the group’s ongoing digitalisation. In addition to a new visual identity, the technical infrastructure in particular has been modernised. Optimised loading times, responsive web design and a high-performance backend architecture are intended to lay the foundations for digital communication that can be scaled in the long term.
According to the company, the new platform also enables data-driven further development of content and user guidance. This should enable digital offerings to be continuously adapted to the behaviour and requirements of the various target groups.
“The relaunch of our website was an important milestone for the digital development of our family-run business,” explained Carsten Dahlke, Head of Marketing at the KÖTTER Group, at the awards ceremony in Berlin. The aim had been to present the wide range of services in a contemporary way and to significantly simplify access to information.
Digital visibility for a broad portfolio of services
The new website brings together the group’s entire range of services. These include security services, security technology and cyber security, as well as cleaning, personnel services and training and further education programmes.
In addition to providing information, the new website also pursues commercial objectives. The platform is designed to strengthen the brand’s digital visibility, improve customer engagement and support the recruitment of new skilled staff.
Collaboration with digital agency SUNZINET
The relaunch was conceived and implemented in collaboration with the digital agency SUNZINET. The project encompassed strategic planning, user experience, design, technical development and the go-live of the new platform.
According to the project team, the key challenge was to transform the group’s wide-ranging portfolio of services into a clear and powerful digital platform that combines both functional requirements and brand management.
Brand management as a competitive factor
This double accolade underlines the growing importance of digital brand communication in the services sector. Corporate websites are increasingly evolving from purely informational platforms into central components of the customer journey and recruitment processes. User-friendliness, performance and data-driven development are becoming just as important as a consistent brand presence across all digital channels.
The German Brand Award, presented by the German Design Council, is one of the most prestigious awards for brand management in the German-speaking world. It honours companies, agencies and organisations that set new standards with innovative brand strategies and compelling communication solutions.
