At Expoprotection 2026 in Paris, the Taiwanese manufacturer LonTrend Corporation will be presenting, amongst other products, the LTPM18 pan-tilt unit, which has been developed for use in demanding environmental conditions. The system is designed for applications in security and surveillance technology where heavy cameras or sensors need to be moved and positioned with precision.
The LTPM18 features a weatherproof housing compliant with IP66 and NEMA 6P standards and is designed for outdoor use in harsh environments. Its aluminium alloy construction allows for a maximum payload of 120 kilograms, making it suitable for large-format cameras, sensor platforms or combined surveillance systems.
Both the pan and tilt speeds can be adjusted to suit the specific application. The system can be optionally combined with network or analogue cameras and is powered by a supply voltage of 48 volts DC.
In addition to the LTPM18, LonTrend’s portfolio includes further pan-tilt systems for a variety of applications. These include compact outdoor models for payloads of up to 6 kilograms, as well as particularly robust versions for underwater applications with payloads of up to 30 kilograms.
With its positioning systems, mounting components, lighting solutions and protective housings, LonTrend caters to applications in sectors such as perimeter security, critical infrastructure, industrial facilities and maritime security solutions. The products will be presented to an international trade audience at Expoprotection 2026.
