Michael Eifert, long-time head of operative sales and key account at Telenot, is running for the board at the next general meeting of the BHE Bundesverband Sicherheitstechnik e.V. (Federal Association for Security Technology).
The BHE is an association representing the interests of its members, which are made up of manufacturers and installers. Telenot is one of the founding members of the association. Helmut Wunderle, who founded the company TELENOT ELECTRONIC GMBH in 1968, was a co-initiator of the BHE in 1974 and a member of the board for many years. “There is no question that the association performs eminently important tasks between manufacturers and installers on the one hand and the institutions for standardisation and regulations and thus ultimately also the legislator on the other,” says Michael Eifert, who held a management position at Telenot from 1990 to 2022. In Eifert’s own words, it is “a great honour” for Telenot, one of the leading manufacturers in the field of electronic security technology, to run for the BHE board.
Naturally, the graduate in business administration and salesman with a background in security technology also hopes to be elected to the board by BHE members. “We need all the voices of the strong members in the association,” says Eifert. And that Telenot is a “strong member” is proven by its corporate development. While Michael Eifert was still working closely with eleven VdS installer companies when he joined Telenot in 1990, Telenot’s network of installers, which is unique in Germany, has now increased to 465. “The management of Telenot sees the importance and necessity and therefore wants to ensure a continuous and reliable association work. That’s why the decision was made to ensure this continuity through a person who has the necessary time freedom.”
This applies fully to Michael Eifert. Shortly after he retired, Eifert received a consulting contract from Telenot, which he will also use to implement his commitment to the BHE. The married father of two grown-up children is also no stranger to the BHE. For many years he was a member of the arbitration board and participated in various BHE expert committees, including the expert committee planners or the expert committee business administration. Elections to the BHE board regularly take place during the general meeting. The next BHE general meeting is scheduled for 12 May.
