Nedap, the Dutch specialist in access and identity management, is further expanding its activities in the Middle East and has opened a new branch in Saudi Arabia. With this move, the company is responding to the growing demand for integrated security and access solutions in the wake of extensive infrastructure, smart city and digitalisation projects in the Kingdom.
According to the company, Nedap solutions have been in use in numerous security projects in Saudi Arabia for more than ten years. Key application areas include the oil and gas industry, industrial facilities, government buildings, financial services providers, educational institutions and the healthcare sector.
The new branch is intended to intensify cooperation with regional partners and support local customers in the implementation of complex security projects. The focus is on data-driven access and identity management solutions that combine physical and digital security processes.
Junaid Ul Haq has been appointed Country Director for Saudi Arabia and Bahrain. He will drive the expansion of the local team and strengthen the positioning of Nedap’s solutions in strategically important market segments.
The company’s portfolio includes the AEOS access control platform, solutions for identity and access management, mobile access, RFID readers and smart locker systems. The open system architecture enables integration with existing third-party platforms and supports companies in managing identities, access rights and security processes in complex environments.
With its new local presence, Nedap aims to further expand its role as a technology partner for Saudi Arabia’s ambitious digitalisation and infrastructure projects under Vision 2030.
