ABUS is expanding its portfolio with the KNX integration of the Secoris intruder alarm system, enabling flexible integration of security solutions in networked buildings. Developed in close collaboration with BAB TECHNOLOGIE GmbH, a leading manufacturer of building automation solutions, the ABUS Secoris KNX integration has been available since 27 March 2025. This solution is interoperable with all systems installed on the APP MODULE, offering even greater flexibility for installers and users.

The ABUS Secoris KNX integration and the APP MODULE ABUS Edition offer installers of smart home and building automation systems a high degree of flexibility and efficiency when installing and configuring security systems. The APP MODULE ABUS Edition is available from ABUS specialist partners, while the app itself is available from the BAB APP MARKET at https://bab-appmarket.de/.

Robert Tomic, Managing Director of ABUS, explains: ‘With the new KNX integration, we are setting an important milestone in the further development of our security solutions. This enables installers to respond individually to customer requirements and offer efficient and reliable security solutions in both the private and commercial sectors. Interoperability with all systems on the APP MODULE offers maximum flexibility. This innovation enables us to further strengthen our market position and meet the growing demands of building automation.’

Stefan Mainka, Managing Director of BAB TECHNOLOGIE GmbH, also emphasises the advantages of the collaboration: ‘The combination of BAB TECHNOLOGIE’s KNX expertise and ABUS’ security technology enables an exceptional solution for connected buildings. Installers benefit from easy integration into existing systems, allowing them to respond flexibly to their customers’ needs. This partnership marks a major step forward for building automation and shows how two leading companies can work together to develop innovative solutions.’
