New offering supports direct-to-cloud workflows with devices from Axis, Bosch, Hanwha and i-PRO. The new Genetec Cloudlink product range enables existing access control and video surveillance devices to be connected to the cloud
Genetec Inc, a l provider for unified security management, public safety, operations and business intelligence, introduces the specifics of its new SaaS solution Security Center SaaS: This gives companies the freedom of choice to connect door controllers, cameras and other relevant devices.
Security Center SaaS is based on an open platform architecture and enables organisations to connect directly to the latest cameras from Axis, Bosch, Hanwha and i-PRO. Security Center SaaS also brings organisations’ existing access control and camera hardware to the cloud via the new range of Genetec Cloudlink™ appliances, maximising existing infrastructure investments.
Direct-to-Cloud for Axis, Bosch, Hanwha and i-PRO devices
Security Centre SaaS uses an open portfolio of cameras from various manufacturers. It also takes advantage of the newly announced Axis Cloud Connect solution and the existing Axis Powered by Genetec network door controller. Security Centre SaaS enables customers to securely connect, register and manage Axis devices with multiple deployment options, including direct streaming of video, metadata and access control data from the devices to the cloud.
The latest cameras from Bosch integrate seamlessly with Genetec Security Centre SaaS. With firmware version 9.21, which will be released later this year, Bosch will offer camera configuration and video viewing capabilities in the Security Center SaaS platform via direct cloud connections.
Hanwha Vision’s Q-Series cameras will be fully compatible with Security Centre SaaS. Over time, Hanwha Vision will expand support for Security Center SaaS across its product range to enhance its integrated systems.
i-PRO will make as many existing camera models as possible compatible with Genetec’s new solution via an app-based approach. Users of AI-enabled i-PRO cameras can simply install an application on the camera to gain direct access to Genetec™ Security Centre SaaS.
