Prosero expands its German operations: second acquisition in quick succession

April 2, 2026

The Scandinavian security provider Prosero Security is continuing its expansion in Germany and has acquired H+W Mechatronik GmbH. This is already the second acquisition in quick succession and strengthens the company’s market presence; it now operates from twelve locations across the country.

H+W Mechatronik GmbH, based in Neu-Ulm and Dillingen, is regarded as an established provider of security technology solutions in southern Germany. Its range of services includes electromechanical and mechanical locking systems, access control, video surveillance and burglar alarm technology. Its customers include public institutions, local authorities, businesses, industry and private clients.

Since its foundation in 2004, H+W Mechatronik has consistently focused on digital security solutions and boasts strong regional roots as well as long-standing customer relationships. This focus aligns with Prosero’s strategic positioning, which places particular emphasis on integrated and digital security concepts.

“H+W Mechatronik is an excellently managed company with strong local roots and an excellent reputation in the Ulm, Neu-Ulm and Dillingen region,” explains Anders Uddfors, CEO of Prosero. Its expertise in digital security solutions ideally complements the existing portfolio and strengthens the joint market position.

The acquisition is also viewed positively by H+W Mechatronik. Managing Director Hans-Jörg Weh emphasises the shared values: customer focus, technological development and skilled staff are central to the business. In Prosero, the company has found a partner that shares this vision and enables further growth.

H+W Mechatronik will continue to operate under its own name, with its existing management and workforce. The integration into the Prosero Group is primarily intended to create synergies and further expand the range of services offered to customers.
