SALTO expands its electronic padlock series

June 19, 2023

SALTO is launching another member of its electronic padlock series, the SALTO Neoxx G3. It has the same comprehensive access functions as the G4 model. At the same time, despite its more compact design, it is designed for extreme environmental and usage conditions.

The SALTO Neoxx G3 offers exceptional durability and reliability in the harshest environments, combined with ease of use and state-of-the-art access management. It has been successfully certified to EN 16864:2018 Grade 1144-D33, comparable to Grade 3 of EN 12320 for high security mechanical padlocks.

Using RFID, Bluetooth LE and NFC technologies, it enables keyless and versatile access solutions for e.g. utilities (electricity companies, telecommunication providers, industry etc.), critical infrastructure and real estate service providers. The SALTO Neoxx G3 can be used to integrate access points into a unified access control system that cannot be equipped with electronic escutcheons, standard cylinders or wall readers. This gives users control over all relevant access points in their properties.

The IP66/IP68-certified padlock is made of hardened steel and is encased in a specially reinforced housing made of a double-layer structure. This guarantees protection against drops, impacts and adverse environmental conditions and hard use. Other features include anti-drill protection, battery monitoring to optimise maintenance and battery life, visual signalling through an illuminated ring, and different shackle lengths.

Unlike other products on the market, the SALTO Neoxx G3 works with both RFID identifiers and mobile access as standard. It can be operated with physical media and digital keys without conversion.
The SALTO Neoxx G3 is fully compatible with the SALTO Space system platform for on-premise access control and the SALTO KS cloud access solution, as well as SALTO’s future platforms. It therefore works with the SALTO Virtual Network (SVN) as well as radio networking (SALTO BLUEnet) and mobile access (JustIN Mobile) if required. Thanks to the state-of-the-art radio networking via SALTO BLUEnet, the padlock can read, receive and write information (e.g. log data or lock lists) wirelessly and in real time.
