At the German Design Awards, Salto impressed with its intelligent video intercom solution XS4 Com in the ‘Building and Elements’ category and was honoured with the ‘Excellent Product Design’ award.

The German Design Award is one of the most prestigious awards in the design world. Since 2012, the award has identified, highlighted and honoured significant design trends. Every year, outstanding work in the fields of product design, communication design and architecture is recognised. Only products, projects and communication design services nominated by the expert committees of the German Design Council are eligible to participate in the competition. In 2026, over 3,900 entries from 57 countries were registered. The evaluation process involves several stages, culminating in a two-day jury meeting.

Its ease of use and wealth of features make the new platform the ideal choice for smart ecosystems in a wide range of applications, such as the residential sector, modern office environments, shared living spaces, education, hospitality and healthcare.
