Securitas launches regional dialogue series “Securitas meets” at seven locations across Germany

March 16, 2026

Securitas Germany is launching “Securitas meets” today, a new regional dialogue series for security managers from the business sector, industry, public administration and critical infrastructure. Under the guiding principle “Security begins with dialogue”, the series brings together experts responsible for the protection of sensitive facilities and processes at seven locations across Germany. The series kicks off today with an event at the Bayer Campus in Leverkusen.

A security forum with regional depth

“Securitas meets” is designed as a platform for knowledge exchange and practical solutions. The focus is on expert dialogue regarding current challenges in the protection of critical infrastructure, the convergence of physical and cyber security, hybrid threat scenarios and the resilience of the economy in these changing times. Each event specifically addresses the security situation and the needs of the respective region. The programme includes keynote speeches, panel discussions and accompanying specialist exhibitions with live demonstrations of the latest security technology. Speakers come from the worlds of business, academia, the media, politics and public administration, including representatives from the corporate security departments of DAX-listed companies, academics specialising in IT security law, experts from the defence industry and from the government’s KRITIS coordination body.

The opening event in Leverkusen will focus on KRITIS, industrial security and economic security. A keynote session featuring three keynote speeches will examine the implementation of the NIS2 Directive from the perspectives of corporate security, economic security and regulatory practice. This will be followed on 16 March by Munich, where the focus at the SAP Garden in the Olympiapark will be on event security at major events.

The programme in April

From April, the series will visit five further locations:

14 April, Mercedes-Benz Museum, Stuttgart: Economic resilience in a time of change, with speakers from the military sector and the defence industry

15 April, F.A.Z. Tower, Frankfurt: KRITIS protection in the Rhine-Main region, with a particular focus on the role of information, media and forward-looking risk analysis

23 April, Congress Center Hamburg (CCH): KRITIS protection in northern Germany, featuring a panel discussion and speakers from academia, Hamburg’s business community and the government’s cyber security coordination body

29 April, Leipzig/Halle Airport: Focus on aviation and air cargo security, accompanied by a trade exhibition featuring leading providers of security technology

30 April, Amperium am Humboldthain, Berlin: KRITIS and internal security in the capital, featuring a high-calibre line-up from politics, administration, research and the media

What all venues have in common is that Securitas, as an on-site partner, shares responsibility for security there. The venues, ranging from the Bayer Campus to the Mercedes-Benz Museum and Leipzig/Halle Airport, underline the series’ ethos: practical, high-quality and thematically grounded.

Substance rather than non-commitment

“We launched ‘Securitas meets’ because we are convinced that effective security cannot be achieved alone. It requires open dialogue, resilient partnerships and the courage to identify current challenges in concrete terms,” says Ralf Brümmer, Country President and Chairman of the Management Board at Securitas Germany.

Brümmer adds: “Those responsible for critical infrastructure need practical insights and concrete knowledge, not non-committal networking events. That is exactly what ‘Securitas meets’ stands for: every event has a clear regional focus, high-calibre speakers and genuine professional exchange on an equal footing.”

All events take place from 10 am to around 4 pm. Participation is free of charge. Register at: www.securitas.de/news/events.
