September 18, 2022

The eks trade show appearance is all about the networking of CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) and fire alarm systems via fiber optics (FO). For professional video surveillance, the Wenden-based company will present a comprehensive product range that provides reliable and economical solutions for various application scenarios.

It ranges from completely pre-assembled mast connection boxes of the pe-light family to media converters and routers that can be used to transmit the images of surveillance cameras via VPN tunnel to almost any location in the world. In addition, the new pe-light outdoor boxes will be presented for the first time, which are available in different housing designs and can be equipped with active and passive network technology according to customer requirements – meaning you save time in planning and installation.

PEL-S and PEL-O

eks-optical systems also offer reliable and economical solutions for fire protection. Because fiber optic cables are not only superior to copper cables in terms of transmission distance, but also in terms of interference immunity. In addition, you do not have to install new cables when switching to other data protocols.

Media converters for interfaces such as RS232/RS485 and various fieldbuses as well as Ethernet switches and Ethernet media converters and passive components such as splice boxes and patch panels will be presented at “Security”. The products enable a wide range of solutions while ensuring smooth data transmission and thus permanent access to the devices for fire protection. In addition, other security systems such as voice alarms, intrusion detection systems or access control can also be networked.
