A+A 2025: eleven start-ups at BMWE YOUNG INNOVATORS joint stand

August 8, 2025

The BMWE YOUNG INNOVATORS joint stand organised by the German Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy at A+A 2025 is fully booked. Eleven start-ups from Germany will be showcasing their innovative solutions related to occupational safety and health, digitalisation, prevention and ergonomics from 4 to 7 November 2025. This joint stand is located in the themed area “Health at Work” in Hall 7, one of the fastest growing segments at the international trade fair.

The scheme sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Economy and Energy (BMWE) aims to provide young companies with a prominent platform for their marketable developments. Here the focus is on digital technologies, AI-based applications, ergonomic production solutions as well as new formats for training and safety communication.

“This year’s BMWE Young Innovators reflects the entire innovative potential we currently see in occupational safety and preventative healthcare at the workplace. A+A is the platform that makes these ideas visible and tangible for practitioners,” says Lars Wismer, Director of A+A and its global portfolio.

Smart solutions for healthy, safe and efficient worlds of work

Presentations centre on people in their working environment – and the question of how technology can promote safety, health and productivity. Start-up Deep Care, for example, develops AI-assisted assistance systems for automatic fall detection in nursing care thereby significantly contributing to both nursing staff and patient safety. ChronoFair is also dedicated to the health sector and offers digital, fairly organised HR solutions to reduce the workload for staff in clinics and nursing care institutions.

Digital prevention and smart communication also play a pivotal role:  Zebra Factor Academy combines theatre education with artificial intelligence to embed safety awareness in companies in an emotional, creative and sustainable way. Likewise, Knoll, Rapp & Strobel as well as BASIKNET will be introducing new concepts for knowledge transfer and safety communication in companies – from online training to gamification approaches.

Classic occupational safety topics are also prominently represented. LeiKoSi will present a patented ladder head safety device that prevents falls at work. DermaPurge GmbH produces protective and care products for the dermatologically effective removal of hazardous substances from the skin in risky work environments. Innovative textile hazard protection solutions come care of Armadillo Tex – this start-up combines flexible materials with adaptive protective functions for garments in high-risk applications.

Not one but several exhibitors place special emphasis on ergonomics:  Dewboard GmbH has developed a specially designed stand-up board for workplace health promotion – for instance for nursing professionals or industrial manufacturing. eltracon GmbH and MY Intralogistik will also present applications from the production and logistics realm. These bank on smart automation, flexible control systems and digital process optimisation that fuse safety with efficiency and resource savings.

Impulses for experts

The eleven start-ups illustrate the thematic diversity and great innovative power with which young companies address current challenges in the world of work. Their approaches range from AI and robotics to education and communication to physical protective systems and digital platforms – often designed with a multi-disciplinary approach in mind and a clear focus on practical utility.
