The popular BHE specialist congress “Fire Protection” will open its doors for the 9th time in Fulda on April 19/20, 2023.
As usual, participants can expect a varied lecture program in which selected speakers will present current developments and trends in fire protection. In addition to modern techniques and fire protection concepts, the relevant standards and regulations will also be discussed.
On the first day of the event, an exciting series of lectures will address the topic of “Serious mistakes in fire protection systems: from the fire protection concept to expert approval”. Four industry experts will reveal typical mistakes in fire protection concepts, planning, installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems and discuss possible solutions with the audience.
Another highlight will be a presentation on operator liability for fire alarm systems. Dr. Ulrich Dieckert, an expert in legal issues relating to safety technology, will highlight the wide range of requirements placed on the operator and the associated liability risks, and will shed light on the various obligations arising from building regulations and technical standards, among other things.
In addition, participants can look forward to interesting presentations from the user’s point of view. One presentation, for example, will address the complex fire protection requirements in the automotive industry. Another paper will describe the fire protection challenges for operators of critical infrastructures, using the Klinikum rechts der Isar as a practical example.
The trade exhibition integrated into the event also offers ideal conditions for finding out about innovative fire protection technologies in personal discussions with well-known suppliers.
The evening industry get-together on the first day of the event also offers further networking opportunities in a pleasant atmosphere.
