Assa Abloy acquires Senior Architectural Systems in the UK

Assa Abloy has acquired the independent company Senior Architectural Systems (SAS). The company, which supplies innovative aluminium windows, doors, curtain wall systems and thermally efficient glazing solutions for the commercial construction sector, will strengthen Assa Abloy’s product portfolio in the UK market.
‘This acquisition is in line with our strategy of expanding our core business with complementary products and solutions,’ explains Nico Delvaux, President and CEO of Assa Abloy. Neil Vann, Executive Vice President and Head of EMEIA Division, adds: ’SAS is an exciting addition to our UK business – their market-leading, thermally efficient technology will further expand our offering in the commercial OEM market.’
Founded in 1991 and with around 150 employees, SAS is headquartered in Yorkshire, where it also has its production facility. Sales for 2024 were approximately EUR 58 million with a strong EBIT margin – the acquisition will be EPS positive from the outset.
