dormakaba announces the signing of a cooperation agreement with Scheidt & Bachmann. Scheidt & Bachmann is a global provider of system solutions for intelligent mobility and, with its Parking Solutions business unit, a leader in pioneering parking management solutions. As part of the agreed cooperation, dormakaba and Scheidt & Bachmann will develop a complete solution for parking and building access management. The cooperation provides for the integration of the Scheidt & Bachmann access solution “parkoneer” into the dormakaba access systems “exos” and “MATRIX”. The cooperation has been officially in force since 6 March 2023.

The modern working world requires increasingly flexible workplaces, accompanied by unsteady mobility behaviour and the desire for self-organisation on the part of employees. These social changes are taken into account by dormakaba and Scheidt & Bachmann with an integrated solution of access systems that allows employees seamless access from the car park to the respective workplace.

“Buildings and their periphery, such as car parks, are still often considered and managed separately from each other. As leading companies for access systems and parking management systems, respectively, dormakaba and Scheidt & Bachmann are striving to eliminate this separation by networking their existing technologies and to create added value for the dynamic use of smart buildings through a holistic approach. The digitalisation and dynamisation of parking

The parkoneer solution combines Scheidt & Bachmann hardware in a compact setup consisting of barrier, camera and a control unit with QR code scanner and intercom. Access is granted to pre-registered users via licence plate recognition. All parking processes are managed intuitively via the parkoneer software – purely web-based and on any end device. Lean, digital processes reduce the administrative effort. In addition, parkoneer enables dynamic allocation of parking spaces and thus minimises fluctuations in capacity utilisation.

parkoneer is integrated into the dormakaba access control systems “exos” and “MATRIX” as a supplement to the property management system via a software connector.
