Hanwha Techwin is now called Hanwha Vision and expands its vision solutions offering

March 20, 2023

  • The announcement of the name change expresses the company’s intention to become a leader in global vision solutions.
  • Hanwha Vision will provide business insights and tailored solutions for customers’ surveillance needs and operational performance across the enterprise by integrating AI and cloud into its leading vision technologies.

Hanwha Techwin, a leading video surveillance company, will now be called Hanwha Vision. This is due to the expansion of the company’s vision solutions business, which expands its offering as a global provider.

Through this expansion, Hanwha Vision will go beyond its video surveillance products to offer next-generation machine vision solutions that integrate artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud technologies. This will enhance insights into customers’ business operations while making it easier to establish innovations in the global market.

“By building on our core competency through innovation, we will continue to alleviate our customers’ problems while adding new value with advanced vision solutions,” said Soon-hong Ahn, president and CEO of Hanwha Vision.

“As we expand our business from surveillance monitoring and post-event analysis, we will provide tailored information through Big Data analytics and actionable solutions that not only prevent incidents, but also respond to them in real time. Our new vision solutions will help advance our customers’ operational strategies,” CEO Ahn added.

In line with this business development, Hanwha Vision will gradually introduce the rebranding of its overseas subsidiaries, products and solutions, depending on market conditions.
